Fink Beige Houndstooth
Fink is a cotton and wool cloth woven with a small houndstooth, in a beige closer to sand than camel. At 75% cotton it sits lighter than a traditional suiting wool, with enough wool through it to hold a line and keep its shape across a day.
We have cut it five ways for autumn. The Westbury jacket is single-breasted with broad notch lapels and no structure through the shoulder, so it drapes rather than holds. The Orsman trousers run wide with a single front pleat. Worn together they read as a suit. Worn apart, neither looks like half of one.
The Crosby is the overcoat, with a spread collar and a hidden placket, the top button left visible. The Renbourne bomber takes the same cloth somewhere less formal, with a double-zip front and a spear collar.
A quiet pattern from across a room and a clear one up close, which is what lets it carry a whole outfit or a single piece.
